Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs canola oil
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tsp chili garlic sauce
  • White Rice, cooked
  • 5 Tbs cornstarch, divided
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbs ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bit sized pieces
  • 5 Tbs soy sauce, divided
  • 1½ Tbs sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine sesame oil, egg white, 1 Tbls soy sauce, 4 Tbls cornstarch
  2. Whisk until smooth (make take a minute)
  3. Add the chicken, tossing to coat
  4. Let sit for 20 minutes.In a liquid measuring cup mix together chicken stock, ginger, chili garlic sauce, sugar, 4 Tbls soy sauce, 1 Tbls cornstarch, and garlic
  5. Whisk until combined
  6. Set aside.In a large skillet heat 2 Tbls canola oil over high heat
  7. Slowly add the chicken
  8. Cook for about 3 minutes aside, until cooked through
  9. Remove from pan, cover with foil, and set aside.Add the soy sauce mixture to the pan, heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently
  10. It should start to chicken, and turn glossy
  11. Add the chicken back to the pan
  12. Stir until coated
  13. Remove from heat
  14. Serve over white rice, garnish with green onions.
